Today we welcomed Chrissie Robinson as our new Chairperson taking over from Gareth Bott. Chrissie has a wealth of experience in the South-West Swimming community and we are looking forward to working with her in the New Year and beyond. Gareth isn't breaking ties with the club completely and will still continue to be poolside supporting swimmers and providing lifeguard cover. This morning, we honoured the accomplishments of our junior swimmers with an enjoyable mini-gala in the pool, followed by the distribution of certificates, trophies, and selection boxes. The gala was described as general chaos by parents who cheered on from the pool side. Our swimmers competed in a variety of events over short distances both with and without floats.
