Today was our annual ‘beat the clock’ gala. These galas take place in our own pool and give our swimmers an opportunity to practise correct race start procedures in a fun environment. Racing in the age groups they would compete in during a formal gala, the only competition swimmers face today is their time from the last beat the clock gala. There were 17 individual races over the course of the morning and a whopping 53 personal best times were set! This is a great confidence boost ahead of our first external gala on 23 February.
