We mixed things up in the pool today by splitting the entire club into three teams. A mix of abilities and age groups competed together in individual strokes and team medleys. With the help of some technical wizardry developed by Jason, the playing field was levelled based on age/gender/time which meant that the younger members could steal valuable points from more experienced swimmers! The result was a close-fought battle with only a handful of points separating the teams at the halfway point. This hugely enjoyable morning couldn’t have happened without support from staff and parents; thank you to everyone who helped make the event a success.

In the evening we also held our annual presentation evening to recognise the progress our swimmers have made. It is also the perfect opportunity to recognise those club members and volunteers who contribute so much to the running of the club. Boringdon Golf Club hosted us fantastically yet again providing an impressive room and some delicious food. Due to popular demand from our swimmers, this year we also had a DJ to get the party started!
