This morning, we honoured the accomplishments of our junior swimmers with an enjoyable mini-gala in the pool, followed by the distribution of certificates, trophies, and selection boxes. The gala was described as general chaos by parents who cheered on from the pool side. Our swimmers competed in a variety of events over short distances both with and without floats. Afterwards, the café was bustling with enthusiastic swimmers as the awards were presented. It is always amazing to see just how much our swimmers achieve over the course of a year as instructors arrive with mountains of certificates to hand out! We also seized the moment to express our gratitude to the volunteers who assist with the club's administration, conduct training sessions, and contribute to making the club an enjoyable environment.
