Today lessons were suspended and we held our annual club gala for swimmers aged over 8. All swimmers competed against the clock to see if they could beat their times from last year or even set a personal or club record.

This fun event was well attended and gave some of our younger swimmers an opportunity to compete in a friendly environment with parents cheering on from the pool side. Congratulations to all our swimmers who attended, especially those who joined us for their first ever gala.

This is always a family event where parents are encouraged to attend and help with the smooth running of the event while adding to the atmosphere! A huge thank you to everyone who helped out with the organisation and delivery of this event, especially Louise who kept timekeepers caffeinated to ensure stopwatches were operated quickly.
